Nail Patrolclip it, scrub it, leave it alone

How to play

1. Five nails grow at their own speed. A dotted line shows how long is too long.
2. Clippers: tap a nail that has crossed the line. Clip one that hasn't and it's an OUCH. Three ouches and the patrol ends.
3. Brush: tap brown grime under any nail to scrub it. Grime comes back, so keep checking.
4. 45 seconds. Score for clean, trimmed nails at the end and for every good clip and scrub along the way.

The real-life version

• Clip straight across, not into the corners, after a bath when nails are soft.
• Leave a little white. If it hurts, you went too far.
• Grime under nails is where germs hide. Scrub with a nail brush when you wash hands.

For grown-ups and teachers

First pass. The one decision being drilled is is this nail long enough to clip, or do I leave it alone, with a second habit layered on: look under the nail, not just at it. Nothing is tracked or sent anywhere.
